First I would like to thank Dan for all the work to put these rides together. This is the seventh time he has laid out routes, found hotels, meal, gas, and sightseeing stops. It made for an outstanding ride for all of us. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we were all dissappointed and sad for Dan and Ellen when they were unable to complete the ride. Thanks to Allen and everyone who helped continue the ride to all of the planned stops. Special thanks to John and Bev for helping out and especially for going above and beyond to ensure that Dan and Ellen made it home. This is an outstanding group and I really enjoyed the ride.--John
To all the Maplap Minnesota riders: John and I want to thank everyone for making our nephew Charles and his family a part of our group and making them feel so comfortable. They truly enjoyed the ride and enjoyed meeting everyone. You are a great group of riders and we enjoyed being with you all also.--Bev and John
Ellen and I would like to thank all that rode the Maplap Minnesota ride. Sorry we could not complete it but that is the way it goes with machinery. We hope all had a good time. Once our bike is fixed, we do plan to go back up and complete the ride as planned.
We want to particularly say thank you to Maurice Gray for giving up his ride to northwest corner and staying with us as we had the bike looked at in Grand Forks, SD.
Also, big thanks to John and Bev Speckman for coming back up north with their trailer to get us back home. This was a wonderful gesture, and we cannot say thank you enough.
Thanks again to all.--Dan and Ellen
